TERESA LLI
Teresa started her musical education at the age of 7. She graduated with the highest distinction at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid under de guidance of Ángel García Jermann. She received masterclasses from such great artists as Marçal Cervera, Asier Polo, Arancha López (Suzuki Method), Pedro Corostola (receiving a Mention of Honor at the Spanish Music Competition in Santiago de Compostela), Alban Gerhart, Jens Peter Maintz, Christophe Coin, Amid Pelet, Pavel Gomziakov, Dragos Balan, Suzana Stefanovich and Miguel Jiménez among others.
She continued her studies at the University of Oviedo graduating in Analysis and Musical Interpretation with the teacher Alexander Osokin. She also followed regular chamber music lessons in Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam and was accepted to take part of the Accademy for orchestral studies Barenboim-Said Foundation.
As a member of various chamber music ensembles, she has received many awards: 1st Prize in Hazen Competition (performing at the Spanish National Hall in Madrid and all over the country). With the Trio Shinzo, they were selected by the “I Ciclo de conciertos del Real Conservatorio Superior de Madrid” and they recorded for the Spanish National Radio. They took part during 3 years in a program for young artists organized by the Government of “Castilla y León”, “Clásicos en Ruta” and “Juventudes Musicales of Spain”.
She was also finalist at the “IX Concurs de Música de Cambra de Vinaròs” ,“Concurso Permanente Juventudes Musicales”, 3rd Prize at “Concurso Internacional de San Sebastián”, EMCY award, Mention of honor at “Concurso de Música de Cámara de Albox”, 2nd Prize (and best interpretation of Spanish Music) “Concurso Internacional de Jóvenes Intérpretes de Villafranca de los Barros”, 1st Prize “Concurso de cello “Arquillos” (Jaén), Mention to the best string player contestant at the “Concurs Internacional de Música de Sitges”...
She has been invited to take part of the program Young Virtuosi of Spain. She played in many of the best Spanish orchestras such as “Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid”, “Orquesta Sinfónica del Principado de Asturias”, “Orquesta de Radio Televisión Española”, “Orquesta Nacional de España”, “Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid”. She was also first desk of “Orquesta de Córdoba” and principal cello in “Orquestra Do Norte” playing solo regularly in such halls as “Coliseu do Porto”. Currently she is de principal cello with the “Banda Simfònica Municipal de Madrid”.
Since 2024 Teresa is also the cellist of the Trio Rodin.
